Accessibility statement
This site should meet the standard we sell.
Town & Page makes public documents accessible for a living, so we hold this website to the same bar. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we’ve done
- Every page uses headings, landmarks and lists, so it can be read and navigated with a screen reader.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip straight to the content.
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios, and pages still work when text is enlarged to 200%.
- Tables have header cells, and images and illustrations have text alternatives.
- The site works without JavaScript; only the phone menu uses it.
- Animations are minimal and turn off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Documents we publish here, such as sample PDFs, are tagged to PDF/UA.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need a document in another format, emailhello@townandpage.com. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We reply within two business days.
To design together
Before launch
- Run a full audit: automated checks, then keyboard, NVDA and VoiceOver by hand.
- Fix what it finds, then state how the site was tested and the date it was last reviewed.
- List any known issues, or say there are none.
